Opened on my birthday after a couple of years in a temp controlled cellar. Decanted for over an hour before drinking. Strong blueberry nose, but not much oak as others have stated. Soft tannins and good dark fruit flavors. Drank over a couple hours and it just kept getting better. Was fantastic with a top sirloin steak. Can't agree with blgilbey that it is past its prime, though I don't think that it is going to get much better at this point. I would say it is a better than average value. Cheers!

Popped and poured. Nose of plum, blackberry, vanilla, oak. On the palate, blackberry, vanilla, oak. Awkward hollow transition to a nice finish with good acidity and fine tannins. Good wine. So so value. Drink soon.

Popped and poured. Nose of plum, blackberry, vanilla, oak. Smells slightly overripe. On the palate blackberry, vanilla, oak. Highly acidic finish with a heavy does of oak. Nice burger wine. Good. Drink soon. So so on value.

Few wines have tis flavour and richness. Still perfectly drinkable, tough probably turned the peak.
