Dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe dark fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & cassis with some earthy/dusty notes, tar, leather, spices & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium-deep bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe dark fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, herbs & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but should develop further with additional aging. An indicative blend of Garnacha, Carignan, Merlot and Syrah. Very good QPR when found at discount.

Vanilla, smoke, cedar, ripe red cherries and ripe red raspberries on the nose. The secondary aromas really overpower the primary ones. Guessing a lot of new French oak influnece here. The palate adds ripe dark plums and coffe grounds and overall tastes more primary. Almost tart. Call it the "revenge of the red fruits". Intensity of both flavors and aromas are medium +. I enjoy drinking this because of how different the nose and palate are. It drinks like it tells a story, if that makes any sense.
Full body with medium + acid and big medium + tannin. Drinking very well right now if you're okay with the level of oak. If not, hold 2-4 more years and hope that it mellows out. Good pairing with braised beef.

Plums on the nose, spice, anise. Nice acidity to counteract the grippy tannins; dense, with lots of plums and blackberries on the palate. Fruity but not jammy, with minor herbal notes and forest floor and a medium long ending with spice.
A very good Priorat that delivers. Highly enjoyable and will improve with age.

Holy crap this is good. I could drink a lot of this. This isnt top tier priorat but its very good priorat for a stupid price of $20 at costco. Usually Good priorat starts at $40 and goes well north of that. I Went back to buy a bunch but it was gone. Damn. Fresh crunchy red purple fruit , asphalt , slightly tanniic in a good way , crazy good acidity. Great intoduction into spanish wine. Everyone reading this should buy a case and drink over the next 2-3 years ( if you can find this at costco ). Who cares if it ages well, its spectacular right now.
