  • Brought this to Sushi Sho in Honolulu. Oh wow, this was fantastic! Didn’t manage to take a proper note, though, but it paired perfectly with the food. 95-96ish

  • Stunningly done on the nose, linear but very clean reduction, mineral, perfumed. Decent weight and very long. 93

  • not blind
As you expect a lot of acidity, bone dry, no fruit, a bit creamy, decanted for half an hour. For a 2015 with low alcohol. Very saline and precise finish. 91

  • Blend of 70% Savagnin, 30% Chardonnay. Good lawwwddd. This is amazing. Nose had lemon, orchid fruit, white flowers. On the palate it just glides with weightlessness. The fruit was lush and intense but not heavy. Slight bit of funk, common in most savagnin I’ve had. Bracing acidity that feels like it’s fruity acid, and not just lime juice type of sourness. Hard to describe the perfect balance, and overall one of the best white wines I’ve had this year. Now if only these are readily available at retail in the Seattle area.

  • PNP into Schott Zwiesel white wine glass (“Leaf” day): Medium lemon to the eyes.

Savoury lemon zest, very detailed fruit notes and florals. Some elegant spices. Quite deep and has an authentic feel to it.

Slightly modern style in a good way. Very mineral and perfect level of acidity. Impeccable balance. Should improve with time but I would ditto the previous notes that there is not much of a real need to wait for long.

    Very enjoyable indeed. 93-94 points.

1 hour upon opening: more fruits like pineapple notes. Very nicely linear on palate and again highly mineral.
