Built for the long haul- even on day three it’s very primary but has softened tannins and a fuller silkier palate. Agree with one taster below that the finish is a bit short - but in the main I think these have 10 years bottle development needed to be at their best.

The 3rd of my bottles and for me we have now arrived at the start of the drinking window. Tannins acid and fruit all in beautiful balance, some deeper tar notes and tiny balsamic tinge. A fresh and fruity delight of a wine. Edit- we saved half the bottle and finished it on the third day- if anything the wine improved, smoothing out the tannins to velvet and giving goudron depth to the mid-palate. Definitely significant upside to come.

Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening Tasting Event in NYC. Tasted immediately after the Barbaresco Rizzi which I think I preferred. This was similar but a bit more tannic and would be better with a bit more acidity, Finish is rather short and it lacks some of the complexity of the other cru. It should age a little longer but not sure if it will evolve more favorably.

Rich and truly appealing aromas with this balanced expression between obesity and delicate style with perfumed cherries, light tar and roses. Full bodied wine and really charming with juicy red berries, cherry peel and light spices. Good acidity and tannin structure. This one will drink well early. Super Barbaresco. 92 points.

Mild and friendly, very drinkable. Medium tannins, fine integrated acidity. Lacks a bit of edge for my taste.
