Effervescent, some nice stink (burnt rubber), vaguely red berry fruited - actually purpley and grapey, fine tannins with gentle grip, some bitterness in the finish, not as light on its feet as it could be (despite 11% abv). Definitely Grolleau in character, but lacks the balance of the light fresh style that makes the variety great. Hmmm
