  • Natural wine based on the grape grolleau, hence the name of the wine. Unfiltered. It smells like lingonberry, crowberry, cherries and earth. It has a strong and unusual taste of sour cherries and bitterness. Still it has medium minus tannins and low acidity with a slight fizz. Considered winefault, especially due to the fizz, but concludes this is just a very unusual wine.

  • Unusual flavor profile. Very abrupt on the attack, jumping straight into what I can only describe as a sour Cherry fruit roll up. On the lighter side of medium bodied, there’s quite of bit of bramble to the wine as well. I enjoyed trying something different and unique and encourage others to try it too, even if it doesn’t become your go-to wine!
