Closed, fruit, good acidity, thin impression, medium length (88), no mistakes but probably too young or I should have decant. Next day much more open, round and opulent with superb minerality and freshness, long finish. (92).

My first encounter with Jobard. Strong 1er with an attractive style with fresh fruit, flowery seductiveness, strong minerality component, lots of tension. Missing a touch of complexity and the ever changing aroma aspect to reach even a higher rating. But great wine.
TN: Intense, reductive, yellow fruit, white fruits, salty minerality on the nose. The same, even more intense and perfectly delineated aromas on the palate with an additional white flower layers. At first a bit reductive, this got so charming and round yet sharp and full of tension with a high but perfectly round and integrated acidity. Good length. So harmonious with the right temperature, perfect mix of creaminess and sharpness.
Decanting: Not decanted, followed over 3+ hours. Improved a bit with air. An hour in a decanter seems fine.

An outstanding bottle that will get better with another year or two of age.
Boxes well above it's weight class.
Held it's own with a PYCM Charmes

Fabulous wine. Not as driven and complex as some. Finely poised. Wonderful balance and minerality. Memorable.

Very nice white burgundy. Not heavy and actually quite fresh and refined. Slight reduction (I think).
