  • We’ve had this in our cellar for about 35 years. Cork came out intact, ullage almost as bottled. Color a pleasant aged red with tawny edges. The nose expressed floral notes, especially violet. Still a good bit of tannin, but clearly aging fruit. Earthy base with a taste to match the nose. Plenty of sediment in the last pour. Paired nicely with shrimp and calamari in crushed tomatoes. Drink it now.
