Roses, sourdough, faint citrus aromas. All with a lightly-developing character. Some pinot-derived strawberries too, more apparent on the palate, which is polished, youthful and finely-textured. Medium-full weight, flavours of gentle red fruit and subtle autolysis, delicate medium-sized bubbles, even palate, and a long, generous but soft finish. Will no doubt age for many years, but a pleasure to drink at any time. Fabulous wine.
