My first wine from India! Pale straw with a silver hue. Med aromas of grapefruit, lemongrass, gooseberry, green apple and lime. Dry, with med acid, med alcohol (13%). The palate is consistent with the nose, with med body, intensity and finish. Surprisingly good typicity and seemingly a moderate climate New World SB. Probably should have drank it a little earlier Drink now, not intended for aging.

Served blind. I guessed it as a cheaper NZ Sauvignon Blanc, much to my surprise on the reveal...A nice aromatic nose with the palate showing gooseberry, herbaceous tones, a touch grassy. A hint of sweetness, no obvious acidity. Very easy to drink.

Lunch with Larissa and Madita at restaurant Anaya in Oberursel/Germany (great food!). Screw cap. Light lemon in colour. Citrus, underripe gooseberry, bell pepper, grassy and herbaceous notes, with lively acidity and average length. Light to medium-bodied, with average concentration and limited complexity. Very refreshing.

By the glass from a just opened bottle at Indian Accent, New Delhi. Very much Sauvignon blanc aromatics, grassy, soft citrus touch. Lightest touch of oak if any. Fresh and bright and felt like Essenes is a key ally yo the wine. Nice soft feel on the palate and really nothing much to fault it. Very enjoyable albeit on the simple side of things. Good 87-88
