Zal mijn volgende fles ten vroegste openen in 2027.

I know a lot of folks chase Cantillon, but this is probably my favorite sour beer for consistency & flavor. Just a lovely bottle of beer, a near perfect pairing with Schnitzel.

From half-bottle. Bottled November 12, 2018. Blend no. 92, season 17|18. I drank this next to the Cantillone gueuze, and I have to give this the nod here. The most interesting aspect about this is a bit of a reductive quality that actually calls to mind some of my favourite white Burgundies. The nose is just a little funky, but there's a touch of sweetness and a non-bitter hoppy note. Very fresh, without overwhelming acidity, this is fabulously drinkable and delicious.

Bottled 30 March 2018, Assemblage N°43, season 17/18, made with lambic from 6 different barrels and from six different brews, the oldest brewed in March 2014, 6.3% ABV. Rich and vinous character, warmth from the wood, lovely tart citrus notes, well managed bitters, fresh and sour but not acidic, good persistence.
