Good, but still too young to fully enjoy. This was a big wine and the oak was not yet well integrated. Decanted for 7 hours before taking to a tasting group. This was more on me. The fruit seems to be great, just needs more time in bottle. My next bottle will wait for 10 years.

Classic on the nose and palate. Ruby colour with lovely nose of sweet tobacco, leather, cherries, tea and rose hip. On the palate long, balanced with good tannin. A foodwine, classy and not trying to be anything else.

This was very tight at first, showing overpowering and incredibly evident oak, but luckily opened up after about 2-3 hours of decantation. Quite pleasant aromas of cherries, violet flowers and a touch of oak. Bold on the palate, tastes of pickled berries and cherries with a solid touch of cinnamon and oak. Tannins are still quite rough. Though delicate and highly complex at this young age, I recon it will age beautifully if kept for 5 -10 more years.

Stor lengde. 93-94 p. God Brunello dette.

Soft aroma, medium purple hue. Big brunello burst, dark red cherries and currants. Earthy dry barney finish, long rich linger. Classic Brunello with a big burst.
