  • Tasted at Benvenuto Brunello in NYC. One of the few 2014 Brunello's that seemed very successful. It required severe selection of the grapes on the vine...after several passes through the vineyard they still left about 40% of the grapes on the vine according to the winery representative at the tasting table. Medium garnet color with medium+ tannin and Medium+ acidity and floral, herbal and both red and black fruit elements. Nice complexity and length. Age-worthy...
