Medium light red with a touch of brick color. Juicy, ripe light red cherry fruit with grippy tannins and good acidity. Well balanced Brunello that tends to be more elegant than powerful, which I like. Good producer, but their prices have gone up a lot lately.

6 hour decant but still pretty tannic. I did not get the complexity that I was expecting—fruit, black tea etc. fairly one note and probably not ready.
This was purchased in advance of our tuscany trip. I am just not finding loads of Italian wines that I love (Piemonte region excluded). I hope when we get there I will find the magic.

Very nice freshness and volume of red fruit. A bit of bitter tannins in the finish detract from an even higher score.

8 hour decant. Medium body with dried ripe red cherry fruit, refined tannins and good acidity. Just entering into prime drinking window. Well made but pricey.
