Opened and poured, this shows a fully mature style with the aromatics showing maple, earth, tea leaf and an herbal cherry component. The color is a bricked medium ruby that is appropriate for the wines age. The medium bodied palate shows silky balance and mostly resolved tannins. Subtle acidity remains on the finish to give this some freshness. This is a fully mature wine.
