Young. Primary. A wound up ball of energy. Needs time but not sure it will ever become a show stopper. If I could do it over again, I would have decanted it longer than 30 minutes and paired it with a steak vs drinking it by itself.

Similar to my prior tasting note back in June ‘22. This benefits from a few hours of air. More complexity than I remember. Still young and primary. Should get better with a few more years in cellar.

Decanted for several hours then consumed over two nights. More fruit on night one but accompanied by an odd finish. Night two was lean and muscular. Don't touch this for 5 years and cross your fingers hoping something really good happens.

Not a bad wine at all, but pales in comparison to the 2013. This one is more tannic with less fruit. Heavier on the tea and cola notes. Definitely needs air at this time, so I'll hold for now.

Nice wine, David_D is spot on.. definitely needs 2+ hours decant. A pricey offering, what Dominus used to go for. Many Bordeaux in that range have more to offer, but a pleasant experience to try one! I have had many Dominus over the years, but they gotten very expensive. $300+ Figeac and Angelus anyone?
