What a charming wine! Deep sweet red fruits, especially strawberries and some cherry. Vibrant, steely and crispy, this is so easy to drink and begs for another sip. I would drink this now or over the next year.

Tasted this wine at the online Graci wine tasting organised by Luigi's Wines: Zoom session with Alberto from Graci winery.
Made with 95% Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio. Beautiful ruby red in colour. Perfumed aromatic nose with a velvety, complex texture. Great balance coupled with layers, peeling off a layer at a time, revealing depth, mystery and delicacy.
Similar comments as the 2018 Graci Etna Rosso, this wine needs more time in the cellar before reaching its potential. Give it a few more years, and this wine should sing and dance from your glass to your palate.

Graci Zoom tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour with garnet edge. Legs. Nose is clean, medum intensity, with aromas of tea leaf, earth, inner spice, red fruits, leather. Developing. Holding back at the moment. On the palate, dry, very high acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium+ but maybe actually sneakily high chewy tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of spice, white pepper, licorice, ripe red cherries, ripe strawberry, leather, slight gaminess, earthy minerally undertones. Long finish. Very good quality. Complex but just not ready to shine yet at the moment. Needs more age. Try again in few years' time. 95% Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio.

The 2017 Arcuria is an easy drinking Etna Rosso with round and sweet flavors of red cherries and strawberries and light accents of leather, cinnamon, and flint. The overall sensation is fruit forward and pleasurable, but nowhere near as profound as the 2015 Arcuria I tasted last month.

A bit closed upon opening, but opens up beautifully afterwards. Nice fruit, very transparent but solid core. Great Wine!
