  Clear transparent ruby- restrained nose w an initial puff of something akin to tca but which blew off completely. I mention this so as if others experience the same don’t give up on the wine if at first your bottle has an off aroma - as such my next bottle if drunk young will get at least an early cork pull if not a full decant. With some air the subtle but pure and clean raspberry, floral, and iron elements emerge. Wonderful spicy fine grained tannins and brisk acidity bolster this nice wine.
