Compared to the Eola-Amity Hills bottling of the same vintage, this is a bit less rigid, yet still offers some real tannin. Nicely acidic, very tangy, with a good dose of earth and deep saturation of cherry fruit

Red fruited nose, a lot of aromatic intensity going on here, on day two I could smell the wine from several feet away. The palate was red fruited, some tannins for sure and pretty solid acidity. On day two there was much more pronounced earthy and savory flavors. I do love cristom wines. This still has a few years in it for sure.

Decanted ~1 hour. Light red fruit with forest floor, mushroom and the funkiness that goes with it. Lighter than Cristom’s ladies, this was a delightful wine. At the price point, an excellent every day wine. Really nice.

Cherry, raspberry, blueberry, citrus. Lighter body, lighter style, great tension and depth. Wonderful on its own. Wife enthusiastically, “I could drink this every day.” Compared to Cristom’s Four Ladies vineyard designates (Eola-Amity Hills), this is lighter and higher toned. Great work capturing this AVA. Also, like nearly all inexpensive Cristom, exceptional QPR.
