  • 2005 Littorai Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. A beautiful and elegant bottle of wine from our personal favorite vintage and one of our very favorite winemakers. California Pinot (especially non-vineyard specific Pinot) does not come much better than this. Dark red fruit accompanied by some rose-y floral notes, and that wonderful very light touch of burnt brown sugar and spice and a whiff of vanilla. Delicious!

  • Same as the 9/6/12 bottle except this time it was a great match with my wife's delicious pan grilled pintado.

  • Perhaps I wait too long, but I have always found Littorai wines to age remarkably well. Light ruby color, excellent nose of red fruits and some minerals. Very good acidity, medium body, great fruit on the palate. Delicious with a dinner of tilapia and vegetables baked in a tin foil pouch. Who says you can't have red wine with fish? Delish.

  • The wine looks Ruby colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Hazelnut, and Red Currant. It tastes like Cherry, and Plum. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Medium.
Enjoyed with my son, (and wife), after a long day of inventoring all our wines in Cellar Tracker-!! Paired with my lovely wife's Pork Ribs, Rose potato's and cabbage-a marvelous match-up!

  • Now this is what I am looking for in a Ca Pinot. Beautiful light ruby color with a tinge of age on the edges. Nose of dark cherry, strawberry and just a tad of vanilla cream. Very soft palate with decent acidity. Tart strawberry, cherry, cranberry palate. Ready to go now but has at least 5 more years of good drinking. Really good stuff at a very nice price. I wish I had more of these and will grab any I see in the future.
