Always great to come back to this stunning drop. This time around you get a Chardonnay that's a tad closed, but that's reasonable for how long so of Farr's wines take time to come around. A bit on the thicc side with lots of good acid and minerality going around, but also a ton of tropical fruit richness. Lacks a bit of depth compared to previous vintages, but that could develop with time.

Very light straw-yellow hue. Reserved, subtle, backward aromas of cashew and lightly-toasted almond, with a yeasty sur-lie overtone. Beautiful, restrained floral notes. It's again light and reserved, restrained and shy, and suggests it's yet to develop its full potential. Oak is barely perceptible. The refinement and quality of the wine are beyond doubt, and it would profit from a little more time HHooke

High class. Good balance fruit and acidity, light oak the best of the first Australian bunch
