Blinded... Wow, this was impressive. Reduction/matchstick, flinty, nice "sunny fruit" (should've guessed New World). Good concentration/fruit-weight & fresh long finish!

Grateful for samples from Tim. Tasted blind. About 2-3 hours of air in bottle already. Drank in Grassl Mineralite. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of flinty stony minerality, salinity and wet stones, light toast oak, citrus lemon, yellow peaches. Developing. On the palate, dry, lovely high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon, lime, yellow peaches, wet stones, flinty stones minerality, nice toast oak with some almond nuts. Long finish with a touch of sweet cream. Very very good quality. My guess was great producer Meursault 1er 2020. Hahaha turns out to be By Farr! Impressive. With a lot more air: sweet melon flavour becomes more apparent. Still great overall.

Lovely minerale but just lacking the concentration and power of the 2021 at this stage of evolution.
