Native yeast fermented in concrete. 10 months in 20% new French oak. 20% whole-cluster fermented. Medium garnet color. Raspberry, cranberry, forest floor, cocoa, game. Lively and creamy on the palate. Red fruit and earthiness, citrus lift, slightly hot in the finish. Not as good as the 2016, but still a deal at the price.
