Good quality entry level Etna built on acidity and floral-funky character.
At first with no decant this was a dead ringer for Nebbiolo with bright cherry-strawberry fruit, rosey perfume, and a hint of salty mineral. With half an hour + air it’s more typical Etna and more Pinot-like, with a lot of rocky funk.
M body, M+ to high acid, M to M- tannin. Not much of a finish (a little bitter), and not the depth for long term aging, but a solid Etna and good price at $28. Ready now with a brief decant or just some glass swirling but I think it will drink well for several years.

Pinot like. Lovely nose with strawberry, raspberry, oak, leather, and some floral aromas (roses?). After decanting there are also spices. Lacking complexity and intensity on the palate. Dry, tannic finish. Overall, good value.

Rather light brownish red in colour. If you like your wines grown in volcanic soil (I do) this is a good match. Sulphur, tar, licorice, red berries and a nice backbone of tannins. Drink well now but can sure be stored for another year or two.
