Appearance: deep violet, some ruby highlights, medium+ staining, heavy tearing, no rim variation.
Nose: clean, pronounced intensity, developing, ripe blackberry, boysenberry, black plum, black pepper, lavender, scorched earth, leather, black fig.
Palate: dry, medium acid, medium tannin, high alcohol (14.5%), full body, long finish, ripe blackberry, boysenberry, black plum, black pepper, black licorice, scorched earth, black fig, prune.
Overall: Very concentrated black fruits, high intensity, and a creamy mouthfeel. Structurally, this is pretty well balanced for what it is, but the fruit is beginning to enter a more pruney state, so I don't think this one should age for too much longer. Right now it is very hedonistic and fruit forward with just enough complexity to still feel satisfying.

Classic gigondas, still young and quite a punch alcohol wise. Blueberry and raspberry on the nose and palette. Very fruit forward. *3rd night blackberries has evolved on the palette. Pretty cool berry evolution. No strawberries or cherries.
