Right now this wine is strait up weird, it is a blend of 80% Zinfandel 20% Riesling. I would guess the Riesling was added to lift the acid and fruit to balance out an otherwise very ripe wine (14.9% alc), but the Riesling sticks out like a sore thumb. The fruit and aromatics are over the top tropical and lifted to such a point as to be distracting, more in line with a Sangria.
Given time this may integrate but for now I would say this experiment is more interesting then enjoyable. Absolutely no idea as to a drinking window.
