On nose: dried roses , minerals and faint oak. On palate: all above notes, in addition to fennel, cherry pit, faint cloves and coffee....on a lean , slight body...may flesh out slightly with more bottle age....a good food wine .

The apperience was of pale intensity and Ruby coloration. On the nose the wine was clean, with a medium(+) intensity and Primary aromas of Dried Bellpepper, Thyme, Fig, floral Violets and Cherry, Secondary aromas of Caramel. The development was youthful and light. On the palate the sweetness was dry with a medium acidity and medium(+) tannins. The perception of alcohol was medium with a medium(+) body. Primary aromas of Dried Bellpepper, Thyme, Fig, floral Violets and Cherry, Secondary aromas of Caramel. In conclusion the wine is quite light and fresh in style with fine and elegantacidityand structure. Drink now until 2025...

Deep red color wine with nice mix of tannin, oak and berry notes with a dry finish with some cherry notes also noticeable. Good flavours profile and good level of complexity.

Decanted one hour. Medium-light ruby. Low-intensity aromas of spice, rubber/plastic, dark/blue fruit, cherry, and something chemical, possibly chlorine. Replays on the palate, a bit sour. Light body, high acidity, XD, medium tannin. Would not rebuy. This was my first Rosso di Montalcino, am hoping they are not all like this.

Bien fait. Rien qui accroche mais aucune personnalité.
