A very pleasant Pinot Grigio. Crisp and clean with heavy apple and straw. Mineral notes on the finish. To me, one of the best Pinot Grigio's I have tasted.

Quaffable, but I wasn't wild about this first bottle. Not as crisp as I would expect from an Alto Adige - Südtirol Pinot Grigio. Will revisit and re-rate soon.

Alto Adige is a magical land where Pinot Grigio reaches its most supreme form. In the hands of one of the great N. Italian cooperatives, at £9 this is a wonderful example. Must indulge in the region more.
Nosel: Phenolic bitter apple core, slightly honeyed sweet red apple, cutting slate minerality.
Pal - Attack of grape and freshly cut apple, exhilarating tension w/ high acid, more honey (RS?), lemon skin, faint ginger spice, something stem/herby. Smashable.
Fin - Nicely bitter lemon peel, slate, clean.

First bottleNot as good as previous years-rather common without a lot of sharpness to it
