Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): My favorite of the group I think. It is again very much on the young side. Again a fair amount of tannin although not quite as intense as the Riserva. Darker red berries. A bit of tartness esp towards the end. Some almost green or stem notes in the finish. It's works pretty well.

Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): Tasted at the winery. From a coravin pour. The nose is similar to the Autinbej with reduction and oak. Tastes of red berries, followed by grippy tannins, and refreshing acidity. This is a step up from the other wines but does not really stand out for me.
