  • Drank with dinner, no formal notes. Much better than our previous bottle a few years ago. Full bodied, opened with a lot of brioche that thankfully settled down a bit as time went on. Large bubbles, thick mousse. Drinking nicely now.

  • Like JH773, this was a compensation bottle after delays due to the New York State shipping license process when the winery was sold to Louis Roederer in 2019. A very thoughtful and appreciated gesture. Apple, peach, lemon and spice aromas and flavors. Fine effervescence. Well balanced with a long finish. An enjoyable sparkling wine. Served with snow crab legs.

  • Provided pro bono, very graciously and generously by the fine folks at Merry Edwards for my patience while tangling with some distribution laws in Idaho... On opening a very loud POP! and then a spongy head which dissipates quite quickly in the glass. There is lusciousness in the nose with buttery brioche, floral, dominated overall by yeasty tones. Bubbles are fairly vigorous but not sharp, and there is green apple acid on the finish. A very interesting and unexpected bottle.
