It's great to see Italian vintners rediscovering and resurrecting traditional indigenous varietals. Like so many Italian whites, tart acidity is dominant in the entry, and it's difficult to tell (for one with an American palate like me) the subtle differences among them all. A wine that begs to be paired with the seafood gifts of the Adriatic Sea.
Apple, pear, peach, lemon, lime, almond and saline aromas and flavors. Fleshy fruit on the mid-palate. Long finish with bright acidity. Very good QPR. Served with a pork stir fry.

Green apple, lemon peel, saline and mineral notes. Crisp and tangy on the mid-palate. Nice finish with good persistence. A very good QPR. Served with chicken veronique.
