Impressive! Nice weight with a light, fresh, austere feel. Abundant lemon and a touch of lime. Minerals a sea spray. So darn drinkable I wish I had more bottles in the cellar. Tremendous value too.

As others have pointed out, this is a great complement to the WV bottling. More unctuous and richly textured (in the scheme of Goodfellow Chardonnay), while nonetheless coiled and steely with tremendous acid backbone.
Upon opening, it's unmistakably Durant fruit: There's some strange and not at all unappealing reductive-type smell right off the bat that I always detect in Durant Chardonnay that blows off with some time in the glass. Yesterday when I drank this, that took an hour or two and it was nice to follow its evolution into something cleaner.
Tremendous value here. For me, this is a good candidate for a case purchase.

Matchstick, minerals, and Meyer lemon, a lovely balance of richness and austerity and it takes on more depth and dimension with Greek roasted sea bass with a light lemon caper sauce. An excellent wine and tremendous value.

No specific notes, definitely a bit more rounded compared to others in the lineup, almond skin, orchard fruit, nice herbaciousness. Needs another couple years sideways.

So much dimension to enjoy in this Dundee Chardonnay. Enjoyed after a day of driving, hiking, and exploring Canyonlands NP Moab UT. Lovely!
