  Consistent with previous bottle. Deep ruby in color, this wine (100% Sangiovese) reveals raspberry, mushrooms, cranberry and dusty earth on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with mineral and mint undertones. The finish is well balanced with the red fruits, acidity and minerals in good harmony. 12.5% abv.
  
  Purchased for $14US, this was an easy drinking red that was an ideal pairing with my artisan pizza tonight.

  Started out a bit rustic, with grainy tannins and some stewed fruit and forest floor. One day later, the tannins had smoothed out and the fruit brightened, producing a lovely, middleweight red with good structure and acidity. Not profound or complex, but tasty and with a good QPR.
