Consumed over three nights. 100% Marsanne from 30+ year old vines. Deep golden yellow color. This is a very rich, luscious style of Marsanne - almost viscous on the palate. I would actually give this bottle a few years of cellar time to come together a bit more - right now it is all about the showy stone fruit (apricot & peach) but I suspect there is some balancing minerality underneath that will show up as it integrates.

Wine in the time of Corona Virus - Quarantining in NYC & NH; 3/7/2020-9/1/2020 (NYC/NH): Consumed over 3 nights. This producer is becoming one of my favorites for St. Joseph Blanc - a real mouthful of rich delicious, yet well balanced Marsanne. Should have bought a case of these when there was more on the shelf.

A private lunch (Restaurant 212 *, Amsterdam, NL): Le vin, sang de la terre. Exactly so. Elegant, intense, pure and precise, fresh but candied fruit, flowers, subtle bitters, very good length.
