  • Good fresh natural wine Jura pinot. a little funky on the nose, very dry and fresh. But its not over the top in any ways, staying clearly within boundaries. A bit strict on the palate, indicating that it can go some more years and also that it's good to pair with food.

  • A Pinot Arbois. A nose with red berries, farm smell with hints of liquorice. In the mouth easy to know it is pinot not bad on the attack but the middle lacks concentration and the final is medium lenght and somewhat drying. You have to like the natural side in the wine to appreciate. Glad to have tried finally but the conclusion is not for me. I like my pinot "clean" without Brett!

  • Visually, quite translucent even for a pinot. On the nose, quite a bit of brett, funky, but I don't mind that. It lends a bacon element. Taste is bacon, savoury, a hint of pepper, some cherry, and long lasting tannins. Decanted in magnum decanter for 90 minutes before drinking for good air exposure, but could have had more air.

Surprisingly good for the price, less than €30. Bought from vineyard shop in Arbois.
