  Medium ruby color with some purple. Very pronounced aromas. Lots of just ripe red fruits like strawberries, raspberries, and plum. The lifted red fruit aromas from carbonic maceration are obvious: candy, bubblegum and green banana. There is a backbone of mineral and herbs as well. The palate reveals a little more spice, dried herbs, light peppery notes and some florals. This is a dry wine, medium acidity and medium tannin. Alcohol is moderate and the body is medium.
  
  This wine has some wonderful complexity and the flavors are characteristically intense. Although I would have expected slightly higher acidity and slightly lower tannin, the wine is in balance and the finish is long. Outstanding wine.
