Feels low in acid, pretty high in tannin, and high in alcohol. Pretty full body, a lot of fruit to begin with (dark fruit, blueberries), but transitioned toward expressing more vanilla and leather. Not much lingers here, either on the nose or on the palate, but overall very enjoyable.

Big, brooding, and dark-fruit oriented. With a couple hours of decanting the nose opened up to reveal notes of graphite, cocoa, damp earth, and a mix of blueberries and sweet raspberries. With time, rosemary herb emerged to showcase a bit more of your typical southern Rhone attributes. Big and voluptuous in the mouth, but somewhat monolithic, and a touch of alcohol notable on the finish. I'll hold remaining bottles. 91+

Popped and poured and this was extremely floral upon opening. Red fruits--strawberry and apple were predominant. Medium bodied with silky tannins. Drink now or hold. This has a long life ahead of it.

I believe that my 10 year longevity prediction from November 2021 was way too optimistic. This is certainly not as impressive now as it was then. A little flatter, not much primary fruit left. Earth, cedar noted. One bottle left and I will drink it up in the next year or so.

Good typicity. Cherry liqueur, some garrigue. But massive alcohol, esp on palate, detracts greatly (my usual gripe with Gigondas and CdP). Doubt wine will age gracefully, but would love to be wrong on this one (have 2 more bottles).
