Interesting to see the last tasting note was from almost 30 years ago. This was poured from a magnum. Still going strong. I suspect the time has given it a chance to mellow down a bit since while it's clear this is still a fruit forward wine, it's not overly intense. Reasonable although outshined a bit by the Dominus.

8 1987 Cabernet Sauvignons tasted at Jim Gallagher's home in San Francisco. Was a clear medium color in the glass, with a rich, ripe forward fruit on the nose that featured intense ripe, forward fruit in the mouth, with a woody finish that had medium, soft tannins and was almost mediocre. My #6 and Group #3. $35 etched bottle prettier than the wine.
