Light red in the glass with a floral nose, this 1er Cru is a mix of vineyards that comes across smooth, balanced and with a touch of elegance. It’s in the zone for drinking now. Complete … Lovely if not super distinctive.

Joseph Drouhin Cellar Visit and Tasting with Vero (Beaune): Barrel tasting at the domaine. More black vs red fruit comes across as larger scaled than typical for this wine. Very fleshy and rich, both for better and worse, so not quite a s typically Chambolle as usual. Give this time.

Found this to be quite tart, maybe a tart pomegranate flavor. Not in balance. Very one dimensional.
