I pulled this from the cellar somewhat randomly, to accompany a dish of roasted asparagus,Spanish ham, and balsamic vinegar. The pairing worked very well -- the balanced acidity and sweetness of the wine matched the balance of the dish. This is a relatively full-bodied riesling with a touch of bitterness and a slightly leesy quality. The kabinett-level sweetness and the acidity are perfectly aligned, and there is a gorgeously long aftertaste. It would benefit from another few years of aging, and it will last for a long time.

Excellent. Superb balanced expression of fine floral, apricot, stone fruit, lime, honey, hints of resin. Nose is rich and varied, palate reveals itself and morphs with long finish. Richness with fine acidity, 10.5. Last bottle, best bottle. Drank over several nights, subtle shifts mostly in acid edge trending towards richer fruit. Enjoy now or wait and see what develops.

Golden color. Nose very faint sponti, a lime note and then some honey florals. Palate a dense floral honeyed note, a bright acidity towards the finish with a kefir lime note, some apricot flavors with time.
Still needs time to settle and open, I think, but a feinherb of promising depth and pleasure now. 91 pts

Golden yellow. Hint of petrol on nose. Ripe stone fruit. Well-balanced. Med acidity. Delicious!
