  At just under 15% alcohol, this was completely unbalanced and unpleasant at this point. There were green vegetal notes, roasted plums, and the distinct impression of sweetness. This wine was a blowsy bruiser, flabby, hot, and sweet from too much oak and onetime crazy-ripe fruit. Definitely not my style at any point in a wine's life. Perhaps 5 or 10 years ago it would have been more palatable, but this bottle will be used for cooking.
