  • Running out of superlatives for this wine. Blossom bouquet, pure, elegant, structural, subtle, energetic, .... May be the only weakness is weak terrior signature becoz Mdm Lalou rules them all!

  • Medium red in color, cloudy. Nose with loads of red floral notes and equal amount of mean greenies and herbal notes. Better than the last bottle with more solid fruit, more open and layered nose. Still too green for my taste.

  • Tonight this wine is singing the nose is very deep with tons of spice rose garden and sweetness which completely compell the bit of greenness in it! The best 04 across the board in the Leroy range with great concentration and depth. The wine is silky smooth open with layers and long aftertaste! I loved this so much thank you Pacalet!!!

  • Drank this with Pacalet. This is the best 04 burgundy I have ever had. The nose had some leroy stems, rose petals, caramel, asian spice, undisturbing green note, pure red fruit, perfume, and flowers. The oak integrated perfectly in the glass and the red fruit was so pretty. The density of this wine was impressive for a weak vintage. The greenness slowly grew in the glass but the lovely sweet red fruit totally compensated the greenness on the palate. This is drinking beautifully now. No point to wait.

  • Medium red in color, not cloudy like Leroy 04. Initially some 04 greenies but almost gone in an hour. Typical Leroy red floral nose with lots of spices, palate mirrors the nose but a tad thin, very pure fruited but slightly chalky at the end. The 04 Auvenay Chambolle is miles ahead of this, but by itself a very decent 04.
