One of my go-to easy to enjoy wines, from one of my favorite Napa estates. That said I’ve enjoyed some of the prior vintages just a touch more. Still enjoyable. A wine that lies nicely with a very wide range of food IMO.
Med ruby to cherry edge. Raspberry, cherry, black cherry, pepper, some rustic notes. Crisp, linear presentation. Med body. Black cherry, dried red fruit, a bit of black pepper, a bit of wood underneath on the palate. Flavors somewhat muted. Lighter tannins. Med+ alcohol at least. The acidity and alcohol take over just a bit from the tannins & fruit. (14.5% alcohol)

Unique sangiovese that was very enjoyable. More tannin and less acidity than your typical Chianti sangiovese.
