Tasting ratings were a bit mixed on this one. Some thought it was worthy of a 93. I on the other hand would have given it a 89. So we took the average.
This is a very good wine. Balanced, not overly oaked or buttery. I prefer a little more complexity from quality barrel aging and this fell a bit short for me. But others thought it was better than a chard we drank earlier that I thought was better. If you prefer your chards with less oak but still flavorful—this is YOUR wine.

Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of vanilla, cream, brandied yellow pears. Flavors of creme fraiche, yellow pears and yellow apples. Medium acidity, full bodied. Drink or hold.

Very strong on the nose with stone fruit, peach, lemon, organ peel and mazepan. Almost candy like sweetness on the palate and strong oaky notes. The alcohol is abit overpower, however, i like this kind of punch in American Chardonnay. Overall I like this wine.

Great fruit, acidity, balance, with just a nice touch of oak/vanilla.

Beautiful wine with multifruit up front flavors, good acidity and balance, smooth and refreshing.
