This pale yellow wine, bottled under screwcap, has a slight spritz that dissipates quickly. The nose shows no reductive notes, instead offering a pleasant array of citrus, melon, kiwi and cut grass. Light-bodied, crisp and without alcoholic heat (13.5%), it delivers flavors mirroring the nose, stays solid on the mid-palate and finishes with medium length. Despite seeing a touch of American oak during vinification, there is no detectable wood. Sourced from numerous coastal vineyards throughout the Golden State and garnished with a dollop of Sémillon, this is a credible white that is capable of pairing nicely with light fare. Enjoy it in its youth. Drink now-2021.

Noting special, but a fine price-performer.

Pleasant. Balanced, with nice fruit. Calculated to appeal to casual drinkers. Strikes me as more like a Chardonnay.
