Soft, pale, jewel-like... and really lovely. Notably earthy on the nose, with a subdued, elegantly decayed floral note floating over the top. The palate takes you on a journey through different phases of pure red fruit, musk and minerality, with the finish so long that it surprises every time. There's actually still a fair bit of fine tannin too, and probably the capacity to age at least another 5+ years.

loosing its friuty power moving towards hay, graphit, blood/iron. very mineral & herbal. herbs like a pie franco but still very light and lots of terrain. nice but i assume it right now needs a bit if time to settle (more). giving the next bottle about 2 years more (2024)

I’ve consistently loved this year in year out, it’s actually the wine that made me appreciate the variety having gone through the over ripe over extracted chateauneuf era, nose is full of strawberries, earthy minerals, raspberries, hint of rhubarb and some dried herbs, palate is silky smooth, with freshness and elegant fruit through out and a nice finish, not the most complex but a highly delicious, satisfying and a great food wine
