  This is a very clear, dark purple wine with a rich, dark berry compote fruit element on the nose and palate along with a subtle herbal component. It's quite drinkable, hitting the palate with a medium + body, some warmth and density, but no viscosity, and it shows black pepper. This reminded me of a low intervention Syrah-Grenache blend. Very nice. Elegant and clean.

  Popped and poured. Medium garnet color. Nose shows some herbal cough drop, wild flowers, cherry and plum with a bit of funk lurking in the background. Similar flavors on the palate. Medium+ acid, medium tannin and body with a tart fruit profile. Interesting wine but questionable QPR. Definitely better with food than on its own.
