Red fruited with herb and floral undertones. A spicy note of pepper is also present. Reminds me of cab franc with the body of a light merlot. Dry, crunchy and silky on the palate with a brief finish. Good, simple quaff.

Maroon red, mauve tinged rim; snazzy, berried red fruit; crunchy red fruits, refreshing acidity, supple; an attractive snap to a smart finish. Drink over the short term.

Unscrewed and poured. Aromas of black fruit and black pepper. Restrained flavors of baked apple up front, with plum notes mid palate, and a tart, robust finish. Good backbone, tight, some complexity, good staying power.
True to type, but lighter on black pepper than your average blaufrankisch. Quite good now, comes across as very young, may develop with age.

Austrian Wine Masterclass - The Art of Wine; Down to Earth; 6/24/2021-6/29/2021 (Praelum Wine Bistro): Medium ruby, and quite viscous. Ripe boysenberry nose, and floral and spiced, and a hint of soft nuts. Tannins giving a bit of bite, whilst with some nuttiness. A good length with florals in the finish

Nice nice. Pepper on the nose and on the palate as well. Fresh and easy drinking - nice summer red.
