Again on Friday evening having a great steak on the BBQ rare , we run out of previous wine so found this next leg up wine , so lets review it. Black core middle in colour with a maturing ruby rim at July 2021. nice This wine made from Leeuwin Estate's original wine maker Bob Cartwright . On opening we have nice ripe sweet blackcurrant flavours upfront with sweet new oak adding complexity from the difficult 2016 year, v/nice and getting ready to enjoy for certain. On the palate we have ripe sweet fruit upfront similar flavours to above , nice rich mid palate sweetness and again sweet oaky oily tannins giving great length. V/nice indeed Worth searching out and drinking great may i say... Worth searching out at auctions QPR $30 about right
