Good as usual. Full-bodied with blackberry, plum, and pepper. Smooth, with integrated tannins, and quite dry. PnP at cellar temp and was ready to go. Would be a point or two higher but there was just a touch of sweetness on the finish.

84% Petite Sirah, 13% Syrah, 3% Viognier. The Viognier is doing its thing on the nose, currently to a greater degree than its percentage would suggest. There’s lots of perfume and sweetness but also plenty of extract; it acts like it will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age to integrate, and I suspect the Syrah will jump up and occupy more of the midpalate.

Really nice, smooth, full bodied wine. Lots of fruit darkness up front with the right balance of tannin, spice, and leather to finish. Lovely!
